This little dresser belonged to my dear  big brother who passed away a few years ago. Of course I wanted to keep it but it needed some TLC from years of wear & tear. I was excited to try and bring new life to the simple little piece. I love it so much!

get primer & chalk board paint

I put one coat of primer

I put two coats of chalk board paint. I want to be able to label with chalk in a cutesy way the names of whats in each drawer like aprons, books etc

get wrapping paper or scrapping paper, Mod Podge and an applicator.

I got a cute all purpose wrapping paper at Target in the dollar section. I put 3 coats of Mod Podge on top and a thin layer before hand on the bottom to adhere to the dresser

That is a really neat idea! I'm glad that you were able to remodel something so special and keep it. Are you going to draw on it with chalk? I saw that you painted it with chalkboard paint.

Hi Lauren! Thanks for commenting girl! Yes I plan on writing real fancy with some chalk on each drawer. I use to to store my apron collection and some cook books. So I will label each drawer accordingly. I think it will be cute, ( i hope ) LOL
